It is November 4^th 2016.

It’s Friday.

There are so many issues about demonstration.

This is the second meeting of Friday Class of English Course for Amaris.

Actually there are 10 people who join this course on Friday. But, this morning I got a WhattsApp from one of HR Amaris. She said that her staff was afraid with the demonstration. So they couldn’t come to English Course. That is Oke. I am afraid too.

After that I got a WhattsApp from one of my student. He said that he can’t come because his wife is sick. Ok.

And…there are only 3 people in my class. I am sad. I am disappointed. How about their feeling? Let’s see! I asked them to write about their feeling today, moreover about this English Class.

“I feel today is a nice day because I want to go to English Course, but after I arrive at STC, there are only 3 people include me. I feel disappointed, but I have to encourage my self, because I want to speak English well…”

“Today I feel not good, because when I arrive at the Hotel, it was full. I can’t help them because I have to go here. But I feel so happy because my team and my supervisor support me to join this course…”

“When I arrived at the hotel, it is very crowded, and I feel so …”

Yahh..I feel sad and disappointed too. But, I have to finish this! Oh yeah oh yeah…Lalallaa…

So, the materials for today are about number and time.

At the end of this class, I give them a game “Snakes and Ladders” Do you still remember about that game? Yes ular tangga.

But it’s not a number. I give a post it and then there are a numbers, sentences, or time on it. So they have to read it.

This life is like snakes and ladders. There is time for go up and there is time for go down.*oposih chi?? 

*entahlah! 

My name is Awesome

I will share about my activity. This is the second batch of English Course for Amaris since I am working here. Whatever you think about me lah!

The activity in the first meeting actually was only orientation, rules regulation about English Course, but finally I added the material, that was only “Introduction”. Hahaha…

1.    Short Introduction

This was like a short introduction and short game. So we made a circle and all of us introduced our name by 1 word. For example: Awesome Astri; Zoo Zulih. The clue was we have to find 1 word with the same initial with our name. Some of them were confused. :D

2.    Group Juggle.

We were still in a circle but by backside and then one of us threw a ball. We had to mention her/his name.

3.    Introduction

They had to find a partner and then introduced their partner in front of the class.

That was the activity in the first meeting of English Course. Actually there should be 20 people who join this course, but there were only 12 people. To be honest, I was so sad about this. And I had to divide them into 2 group. The first group will be each Wednesday and the second group will be each Friday.

Graduation STC XIII

Hari Kamis, 22 September 2016 merupakan hari yang ditungu-tunggu oleh peserta STC XIII. Hari itu adalah acara Graduation bagi mereka. Setelah itu? Mereka harus bersedia ditempatkan di unit hotel Santika di seluruh Indonesia. 

Selain itu, juga ada pembagian FC sertifikat untuk para Assessor.

Santika Training Centre (STC) focuses on training to student graduate from Senior High School and Vocational School in order to prepare them as an employee of Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts.

• ·         Minimum height is 165 (man); and 160 (woman)
